We are open!!

Hello Everyone,

The first thing I would like to do with this message is send out our love and support to all of our customers and their families during this difficult time. You are truly appreciated by our family here at Florida‘s Best and we wish you health and happiness for you and your loved ones. My mother and father both suffer from respiratory issues, and are both over the age of 60, but we are determined to beat this virus together, along with all of our fellow Americans and small business owners. This is going to take a group effort, but I have faith that we are all up for the challenge.

That being said, we would like to let you all know that we are still open for business here, and are ready and able to answer any questions, or fulfill any orders you might have for us. Our cleaning procedures and safety precautions have been increased, and you can rest assured that we will do everything necessary to combat the spread of this virus. We are currently maintaining our normal office hours of 9AM-5PM EST Monday-Friday, and will let you know if or when this changes.

As for our customers that purchase from us in person at one of the many events we attend during the year, I can’t report much at this time. The Fair Association is forecasting closures over the next 8 week period, but this will change over the coming days and weeks. The Puyallup Spring Fair in Washington state is the only confirmed cancellation we have at this time. If you were planning on purchasing Florida‘s Best at this event, please contact us toll free at 1-800-735-8912, as we will be honoring our show pricing over the phone for all customers affected by these cancellations.

We have a limited supply of the Hand Sanitizer available, so try to get them as soon as possible. We are limiting 1 per customer to help avoid panic buying and to ensure that all of our customers have the opportunity to purchase one (or receive it free with a qualifying purchase).

Our products are a part of many of your daily routines, and we can’t thank you enough for that. Rest assured we are doing everything we can to make sure our products remain available for anyone in need of them. Please stay safe in the coming weeks, and follow the recommendations put out by the CDC, WHO, and your local health agencies.

Dealing with pain? Tip of the Week! #2

Neuropathy (nerve pain) is extremely painful and can be caused by several different health issues, including, but not limited to: Diabetes, Injury, Surgery, and Pre-Existing conditions. Doctor’s prescribe a number of different medications for neuropathy such as GabaPentin and┬áLyrica. We here at Florida’s Best strive to help our customers live a healthy, medication free life style. There’s 3 main ideas to keep in mind when dealing with neuropathy.

  1. Exercise ALL THE TIME! Stretching, swimming, and low impact workouts are key!
  2. Avoid using Ice on areas that are hurting. We recommend a small amount of heat only. If you must use Ice, alternate it with heat over and over a few times.
  3. Many report state that neuropathy is exacerbated by dehydration, so make sure you drink plenty of water out there too!

Dealing With Pain. Tip of the week!

Several studies have found links between stress and pain. So finding a stress reducing hobby/activity can be one of the most important factors in dealing with Chronic Pain. Pets for example can be a great way to help deal with some of the stress of daily life. Taking care of a loved pet, can give one a daily purpose. Pets can make great companions and owners can benefit from lower blood pressure, stress reduction, and emotional benefits. Think about visiting your local Aspca to adopt a special friend. Remember eliminating stress can be one of the biggest factors in decreasing pain.
